Water Quality & Algae Monitoring

Spend a day out on the Gallatin River with the Task Force experiencing your own part in the work around watershed science and water quality monitoring. If you have ever been curious about the watershed science approach and the project work we do, this is a great opportunity to try it out firsthand with the Task Force team! 

Gallatin River Cleanup

The Gallatin River Task Force is teaming up with the Gallatin Watershed Council for the annual Gallatin River Cleanup! The event is a great opportunity to work together as a community to clean our beautiful Gallatin after the busy summer season on the river.

Reforestation project with Adventure Scientists

Adventure Scientists are actively recruiting volunteers to collect conifer data in National Forests across Montana and California. These data will inform reforestation priorities in areas that have been threatened by wildfire, insects, or other challenges.
