Reforestation project with Adventure Scientists

Looking for an easy way to protect the forests you love, WHILE out enjoying them?
Our friends Adventure Scientists are actively recruiting volunteers to collect conifer data in National Forests across Montana and California. These data will inform reforestation priorities in areas that have been threatened by wildfire, insects, or other challenges. Due to a short monitoring season we are asking for your help today!
The gist is a citizen science project in Western MT where volunteers take observational data of conifer cones while hiking and the data is then used for replanting and reforesting areas after severe wildfires.
