Help us spruce up the Upper Deer Creek restoration site. Completed in 2021, this project helped improve river access and repaired a degrading streambank. During implementation, we created some walking paths, parking areas, and planted over 300 plants to repair the area along the river to improve water quality and provide shade for aquatic insects and fish. Help us manage weeds, water plants, and fix up some trails and walking paths to ensure this site can benefit the river for years to come.
Wear work pants and closed toed shoes, and sun protection. Work gloves recommended, we will have extras if needed. We will meet in the parking lot of the Upper Deer Creek river access site near the boat launch. Learn more about the project and its benefits to the health of the Gallatin River.Â
