DEQ Public Meeting for Gallatin 303d Listing

Join a public meeting hosted by the Montana DEQ, as they discuss the recent determination and assessment to list the Gallatin River as impaired, under a 303d Listing.
The meeting is open to the public, and accessible either virtually or in person. Join in person at the BASE Community Center in Big Sky, or virtually from 6:00-7:30pm.

The next step in the determination is a 60-day public comment period, followed by the DEQ’s ned to submit a formal impairment designation to the EPA. If the EPA approves, the next step is for the DEQ to develop an appropriate clean up plan for the Gallatin.
