On Sunday, July 13, the Gallatin River Task Force marked a landmark occasion—our 25th anniversary—at the 13th annual Hooked on the Gallatin, an evening celebrating the river that has inspired our work for two and a half decades. More than 250 supporters came together to celebrate our shared accomplishments and look ahead to the future of the Gallatin River and the community water resources we all depend on.
This year’s Hooked on the Gallatin was one of our most successful ever. We exceeded our goal by raising over $320,000 in support of critical monitoring, restoration, conservation, advocacy, and education initiatives. We are deeply moved by the generosity and enthusiasm of our community. Every contribution helps us pursue our mission to protect, restore, and inspire stewardship of the Upper Gallatin River, and this incredible momentum ensures that our projects will continue to make a meaningful impact in the years ahead.
Our community is at the heart of our work—those who live here, visit here, and care deeply about the Gallatin River. This event served as both a celebration of our shared progress and a call to action, reinforcing that every milestone we’ve reached over the last 25 years has only been possible because of our community of support—whether through financial contributions and membership, or through volunteering. As we turn the page to our next chapter, your continued support drives our determination and vision for what comes next. Big thanks to everyone who made this event a success.
