Gallatin River Task Force Member Spotlight: Dan Boeckman

by | Jun 26, 2024 | River Stories

This month’s Gallatin River Task Force Member Spotlight: Dan Boeckman.

When new member Dan Boeckman was asked what prompted his interest in membership with the Task Force, he had this to say,

“When I think of all the times and rivers I have fished in Montana, my mind always comes back to a day

on the Gallatin fishing with a group of friends who had met 40 years before on out first day of college.

The fishing was epic and the river was beautiful, clear and magical. We still fish together and argue about who caught the biggest fish that day. I have had many good days on the Gallatin since, and have been looking for a way to give back and help the river. I was lucky to discover the Gallatin River Task Force and it’s great work.”

Thank you Dan!

We look forward to your ongoing support and involvement!
