No Empty Nets – Keep the Gallatin Clean & Win Prizes

by | Jun 25, 2024 | Advocacy & Outreach

No Empty Nets Partnership Aims to Keep the Gallatin River Clean During Peak Recreation Season

The Gallatin River Task Force, Gallatin River Guides, and Backcountry Safaris are joining together to keep trash out of the Gallatin River through the No Empty Nets partnership. No one likes to see trash while they’re out recreating and trash left behind by humans is harmful to fish and wildlife that rely on clean water. We’re challenging all river recreation enthusiasts to track and properly dispose of the trash that you find while out recreating on the Gallatin. Our goal by the end of the season is to collect 1000 netfuls (or equivalent) of trash out of the river and surrounding areas. The guides at Gallatin River Guides and Backcountry Safaris are dedicated to picking up trash while they are out enjoying the river and need your help. This summer, join these dedicated guides and leave with No Empty Nets. Whether you are fishing, rafting, hiking, or however else you enjoy the Gallatin, help us keep it clean for everyone to enjoy.

Log Your Trash & Win A $1,000 Prize

We want to see your impact and reward you for your river stewardship.

We will confirm your contact information and every entry will be entered to win a prize basket at the end of the season. We’ll be giving out a prize package with $1,000 worth of goodies from Sage Foundation, Fishpond, Patagonia, and more!
