The Gallatin River Task Force, along with nonprofit, private, local, and state partners, joined together on June 17, 2024 for a public meeting which featured a panel discussion about priorities for wastewater, water supply, and river health. The presentation included Kristin Gardner, from the Gallatin River Task Force, Scott Bosse from American Rivers, Connor Parrish from Trout Unlimited, Johnny O’Connor from Big Sky Water and Sewer District, and Mike Richter from Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology. The panelists shared recent successes from the Water Plan, as well as a look ahead, working towards a vision for Big Sky to be a model mountain community for water resource management.
