New Faces Join the Gallatin River Task Force Board of Directors

The Gallatin River Task Force said farewell to three familiar faces on our board of directors and welcomed five new members to the team this winter. Ron Bowlin, San Goveia, and Nancy Sheil contributed years of service to the Task Force. With their guidance, the Task Force grew from a single, part-time coordinator to a small organization with multiple employees. We will miss their insight, humor, and talent, but are excited to welcome Rob McRae, Michael Jacquard, JeNelle Johnson, Bill Collins, and Ennion Williams aboard.

Rick believes that we have the team we need to embark on our next chapter.

Board chair, Rick Donaldson, remarked in an email, “We are so grateful to Ron, San, and Nancy for their volunteerism and years of dedication to the Task Force. Going forward I have every expectation that Rob, Michael, JeNelle, Bill, and Ennion will bring new ideas and fresh perspectives to this organization. I firmly believe that they are just what we need to guide the Task Force into the next chapter of our development. We will rely on their technical expertise and business acumen as we tackle new projects in 2018.”

Rob McRae and Michael Jacquard joined the board of directors in November 2017. Rob grew up in the Green Mountain state and relocated to Montana in 2002 after traveling the world. Rob and his partner, Todd Thesing, founded Highline Partners, a boutique building firm, in 2007. He is an adventurer, mountain-lover, and father who brings unique technical expertise to the board.

Michael is a food and beverage manager from Jamestown, Rhode Island. He was an active member of the Jamestown community and served on both the Chamber of Commerce and the Planning Commission boards. Michael moved to Big Sky in fall 2014 and we are excited to welcome him to the Task Force!

JeNelle Johnson became a board member in February 2018. JeNelle is a retired Big Sky community member who has lived in six different countries. She donates her time to multiple nonprofits and has volunteered with the Task Force since 2015. The Task Force honored JeNelle with the “2016 Rookie of the Year” and “2017 Most Pebbles Counted” awards for volunteerism. Her enthusiastic spirit will be a superb addition to our board of directors.

At our most recent board meeting, we welcomed Bill Collins and Ennion Williams to the board of directors. Bill is an award-winning real estate agent from Boston, who relocated to Big Sky in 2009 to lead the Sales and Marketing Team at the Yellowstone Club. In addition to his sales accomplishments, Bill has served on numerous boards and spends his free time fishing, skiing, golfing, and reading. We’re happy to have another river-lover on the team!

Ennion is both multi-talented and multi-jobbed. He is the General Manager of Big Sky Vacation Rentals and is owner/operator of Big Sky Trout with Brian Kimmel. Between his two jobs, Ennion finds time to chair the Big Sky Transportation District board and the Gallatin River Fly Fishing Festival committee. Ennion hails from Richmond, Virginia, but has guided the waters of Southwest Montana with a fly rod in hand for over fifteen years. We’re happy that Ennion has finally had the time to join our board of directors.
