Voice of the River

2017 Gallatin River Task Force Annual Report is Hot Off the Press

A Letter from Our Board

True to our mission, the Gallatin River Task Force made great progress in 2017 on the promise to be diligent when it comes to the health of the Upper Gallatin River and its tributaries.

Three words best describe our accomplishments this past year. Restore. Partner. Inspire. We are equally proud of all three, which are highlighted on the following pages.

By partnering with dozens of agencies, businesses, and non-profits, we were able to improve the health of the Gallatin and its West Fork…inspire and educate thousands, both young and old…and help set in motion a proactive plan to help Big Sky manage its future water and wastewater needs. All through the filter of what would be best for the river.

As a board, we are incredibly proud of what our small staff accomplished last year. They will tell you that it couldn’t have happened without the help of countless others, which we believe is a testament to the power of the Gallatin. We may be a small non-profit, but our mission is big, which motivates us every day.

See you on the river.
