Bartzick Family Wins a RO Drift Boat

On March 22, 2017 at the premier of the F3T Fly Fishing Film Tour in Big Sky, Camille Egdorf, fly fishing guide for Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures, selected the recipient of a custom RO Drift Boat. Diane Bartzick was the lucky winner!

RO Drift Boats donated a custom drift boat at cost, a $10,000 value, during the summer of 2016. The Gallatin River Task Force sold 100 tickets for $100 per ticket to support restoration and conservation of the Gallatin River Watershed.

Diane (pictured above with her husband, Al, daughter, Rachel, Gallatin River Task Force Executive Director, Kristin Gardner, and Camille Egdorf) bought several tickets as a gift for her husband Al.

Al Bartzick is an avid fisherman with several decades of experience. The Bartzick family plans to use the boat to explore local rivers and lakes, including some of Al’s favorites the Gallatin, Yellowstone, Madison, and Big Hole.

In a phone conversation, Albert joked that he “may plan a long trip and maybe not come back,” but in reality, he will use the boat to spend time with his family and friends on Montana’s many incredible rivers.

We hope that Al and Diane enjoy many adventures in their first drift boat.

Thank you to RO Drift Boats for making this raffle possible.
